I'm a writer and professor of English living Da Vida Loca in New York. I've been publishing mostly short stories for the last few years, mostly science fiction and fantasy (with a few lit. fic. offerings thrown in for good measure). Check out the "My Writing" link above to see some of my recent (and even not-so-recent) work. I'm also devoted to exploring the use of games, simulations, and digital media to help students learn better and more meaningfully. Games are fun, right? And memorable? And yet challenging? All the things we as educators want in our classrooms. And if you're asking yourself, "Um, are you sure you're not just using this so-called games pedagogy as an excuse to play a lot of games?" the answer is, "No. No, I'm not sure." :)
